GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Pulaski Days is off and running in Grand Rapids. All 13 Polish halls around town are getting in on the fun, but Diamond Hall was the epicenter Sunday as it hosted the annual flag raising.
The hall was packed with revelers enjoying kielbasa, polka music and fellowship — a few of the many hallmarks of this annual cultural festival.
The 2025 parade grand marshal Lisa Settle relished in opening the festival with three generations of her family.
“It means the world to me. I've been involved with Pulaski Days since 1974. I was in the very first parade. … It means the world. They are the next generation, and we have to keep passing this down to keep the tradition and love going from that on," Settle said.
The festival continues through Oct. 5 at all 13 Polish hall
