DETROIT -- As Aidan Hutchinson lay on the field in the second quarter of Sunday’s game at Ford Field, he briefly thought he was experiencing an unfortunate case of déjà vu.

With 1:03 left before halftime and the Detroit Lions holding a 17-7 lead over the Cleveland Browns, the Lions defender took an upper-body shot from running back Jerome Ford that sent him to the ground. Fox cameras showed teammates, including Derrick Barnes, taking a knee as Hutchinson writhed in pain.

Moments later, relief swept across the stadium when Hutchinson got to his feet and jogged to the sideline. From there, he returned to form and dominated defensively as the Lions cruised to a 34-10 win, improving to 3-1 on the season.
