AMES, Iowa (KCRG) - Iowa State took a dominant win over Arizona on Saturday night, 39-14.
The Cyclones scored four touchdowns from just one yard away, and another from three yards away. Head coach, Matt Campbell joked about the way they scored.
“We’re like the worst team in America in terms of getting down on the one-yard line. If anybody’s got an answer to it, you might as well help us fix it because we can’t figure it out,” said Campbell.
Running back, Carson Hansen, scored twice for Iowa State. He’s happy to see their efficiency deep in enemy territory.
“We’ve had a little bit of a struggle in the red zone earlier. But to see how that was our strength in this game, it’s great to see that,” said Hansen.
