ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Across the tunnel from the room where Kellen Moore addressed a group of reporters, the Buffalo Bills were celebrating their fourth consecutive win to start the 2025 regular season, while the New Orleans Saints rookie head coach spent another Sunday searching for the right words.

The Saints have been right there in three of their four losses , and yet they have not found a way to get the job done. Or, as Moore put it, “the ultimate goal has yet to be achieved.”

The reasons have been varied. There have been penalties . There has been poor execution in critical situations. And, of course, there was that blowout loss in Seattle that happened last week, where everything went wrong.
