Leyba continued what is on track to be a historic season with the CU women’s soccer team by converting a late goal against Houston, lifting the Buffs to a 1-0 victory at Prentup Field.

The junior forward became the first CU player to record two hat tricks in the same season during Thursday’s win against Iowa State. Her winning tally against the Cougars with 4 minutes, 46 seconds remaining allowed CU to improve to 8-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the Big 12.
