LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Over the weekend, Crescent Hill hosted a celebration of Italian culture during GelatoFest.

The event on Frankfort Avenue featured multiple businesses, all showcasing some Italian staples.

Including authentic Italian food from Luigi’s pizzeria, the Italian Loaf, and Red Top Dogs, as well as live music, an Italian marketplace, games, art activities and a gelato eating contest.

This is the first year for the GelatoFest, but organizers say they look forward to holding it for years to come.
