Todd Grantham has been dismissed as Oklahoma State’s defensive coordinator just four games into his tenure with the program, News On 6’s John Holcomb confirmed Sunday.
This comes less than a week after the Cowboys parted ways with longtime head coach Mike Gundy, and the day after Grantham’s defense surrendered 45 points and more than 600 total yards to Baylor in Stillwater.
Grantham, who joined OSU with extensive experience at SEC stops including Georgia and Florida as well as the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, could not get the Cowboys’ defense on track. Through four games, Oklahoma State was allowing 35 points and more than 470 yards per contest.
