BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - One person is in critical condition and three others were injured, after a crash around the 9200 block of Dwight Boyer Road in Watervliet Township.

Deputies from the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched at 2:49 p.m., for a serious injury accident report.

The driver was unconscious and entrapped when deputies and medics arrived, and was extricated and taken to Corewell Health St. Joseph, and is in critical condition.

Three other people involved in this crash suffered minor injuries and were released from the scene.

Speed is considered to be a contributing factor in this incident, and this incident is currently investigation by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit.
