San Francisco (3-1) suffered its first loss of the 2025 season on Sunday, falling to the Jaguars, 26-21, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
Second-year pro Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings both entered Sunday with their respective injury statuses in question. But, both avoided the inactives list and were able to play against the Jaguars.
However, throughout the course of play on Sunday, both Pearsall and Jennings found themselves banged up once more.
Pearsall came down hard on his right knee during the third quarter. Pearsall exited and was examined in the 49ers’ medical tent. The 6-foot-1, 189-pound receiver did briefly return to play before exiting once more.
