DUNMORE, Pa. — A community is supporting children in need at the billiards tournament held in Lackawanna County .

Players shot some pool for just $10 at Kuzzin's Cafe in Dunmore. Spectators were also welcome to watch free of charge.

"It's gonna help raise much-needed funds for our program and also raise awareness of everything we do to help the children in foster care here in our community," said Joan Peterson, Executive Director of Casa of Lackawanna County.

All the proceeds go towards Casa of Lackawanna County, whose mission is to advocate for abused and neglected children in our local court system. CASA's Halloween Gala is also coming up soon on October 11th here in Lackawanna County.
