The Murray Water System will have a planned outage starting at 9 am Monday in order to make repairs to the water distribution system.

The affected area includes Hwy 94 West, from Lynn Grove Road to the end of the line. This includes Browns Grove Road, Rayburn Road and Honeysuckle Lane.

Once repairs are made and service is restored, customers in the affected area will be under a boil advisory and should start boiling all drinking water taken from the public water system.

This includes water for drinking, making ice cubes, washing food, brushing teeth or any activity involving the consumption of water. Water should be brought to a full, rolling boil for at least five minutes to ensure it is safe.

Boiled water can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated in a closed container. Custom
