A traffic stop early Friday morning in Graves County leads to a man's arrest on numerous charges.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office reported just before 1 am, they pulled over a vehicle driving south on Paris Road after the driver committed several traffic violations. The driver, 33-year-old Zachary T. McAlpin of Mayfield, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

A lawful search of the vehicle incident to arrest resulted in the discovery of hydrochlorothiazide, amphetamine, and alprazolam pills. The pills were in close proximity to two loaded handguns inside the vehicle.
