The New York Mets are officially out of the 2025 postseason. After failing to be consistent with their performance, the Mets lost their last opportunity when they blew it against the Miami Marlins in their final game.

The offense was a “no-show” as the Marlins scored four runs, knocking their division rival out of the playoffs. Mets broadcasters were unhappy with the team’s poor showing, and it’s not the first time they’ve voiced their opinion. However, they took a subtle jibe at the Miami Marlins for their postgame celebration.

The Marlins put up a good show after sweeping the New York Mets in their three-game series. Their only purpose was to defeat the Mets and finish the season on a strong note. After the game, the team assembled in front of the dugout and took a picture to celebrate
