A man previously charged with giving a Nazi salute at the AFL semifinal at the Gabba has been charged with two new counts of publicly performing a Nazi salute.
Tylere Baker-Pearce, 39, was arrested by counterterrorism police outside a Brisbane court on Monday.
One of the new charges is alleged to have occurred on Roma Street in Brisbane in the early hours of September 14 — shortly after being released on bail after being charged over the alleged incident at the Gabba.
The second new charge is alleged to have taken place later that morning while travelling by train from Brisbane to the Gold Coast.
Mr Baker-Pearce will appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He will remain in custody until he appears in court.
Baker-Pearce issued lifetime ban from the AFL
