Sony has launched the WH-1000XM6, its newest flagship over-ear wireless noise-cancelling headphones. Packing in an advanced processor and adaptive microphone system, the company’s latest model “combines premium sound with the best noise cancelling in a seamless design.”
To give you a quick recap, Sony had ditched the foldable hinge in the WH-1000XM5, but the newly launched headphones now have a redesigned headband and a foldable metal hinge component.
In terms of audio, the Sony WH-1000XM6 is powered by the QN3 processor and comes with a 12-mic array that improves both ANC and ambient sound. These microphones not only help cancel out noise, but also improve call quality by intelligently beamforming and isolating the noise around you.
