SPRINGFIELD, MA. (WGGB/WSHM) - Shirley Bryden of Springfield is the winner of a $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$50X” instant ticket game.

Bryden chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She said she plans on doing fun activities with the winnings.

She bought her winning ticket at Mobil on 3111 Main Street in Springfield. The store receives a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
