LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One man is severely injured after an overnight shooting Sunday in Lexington.

Lexington police said that officers were called around 9:40 p.m. to the 100 block of Village Drive, where they found a man who had been shot.

He was rushed to an area hospital with reported life-threatening injuries. His status is not known at this time.

The shooter is at large, and the police haven't released any potential persons of interest information.
