The annual Zumbathon fundraiser is returning for its 12th year in Broken Arrow. The dance fitness event will be held , from at the , 1367 W. Kenosha St.

Hosted by longtime instructor Tara Grna and co-host Alex Campbell, the event raises money and awareness for breast cancer through a partnership with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Project 31.

A Community With Purpose

Grna has been teaching Zumba for 12 years and said the program has always been about more than just exercise.

"What I love most about Zumba is the sense of community," she said. "Being a Zumba instructor is about creating a space where people feel connected, uplifted and celebrated."
