CHESTER, Ill. (WSIL) — UPDATE: September 29, 9:00 a.m. -- Illinois State Police said the family was notified he was found by members of the Bernie Police Department in Missouri.

ORIGINAL: September 28, 4:58 p.m. -- Authorities are looking for the public’s help in finding a missing 74-year-old on Sunday.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office said 74-year-old Steven Chiles went missing at 1:22 p.m. on September 28.

Chiles is described as a white male, wearing blue jeans and an orange t-shirt.

Authorities said he was spotted at 10:57 am, in Barnhart MO, on Highway 61 at Highway M headed towards St Louis. He is driving a black 2012 Dodge Ram with a St. Louis Blues sticker in the back window and St Louis Cardinals sticker on the tailgate.
