Police Monday are continuing their investigation of a crash in Boyle Heights where one suspect is in custody, one man was killed and three women were hospitalized.
The crash was reported at 4:20 p.m. Sunday at 100 N. Chicago St., at First Street, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
The casualties were all in a pickup truck that was westbound on First, according to Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The pickup crashed into a parked vehicle, killing the man in the front passenger seat of the truck and ejecting three people riding in the back.
A man believed in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene, Humphrey said. His name was not released.
