Rainy conditions don't appear to have planned an extended stay in Stark County.

The National Weather Service is predicting clear skies in the Akron-Canton area this week, with temperatures peaking in the low 80s. No rain is forecast all week.

The first half of the week will carry some windy conditions, potentially making things feel cooler. Sept. 30 is expected to see speeds of 3 to 8 mph, while Oct. 1 is forecast to see speeds of 7 to 9 mph.

The warmest conditions are expected Sept. 30, with a high near 83. Later in the week, highs will cool into the high 70s before picking back up looking into the weekend.
