TINA TURNER'S statue has been unveiled in her hometown of Tennessee as a homage to the late singer.
The monument has now been slammed as an "insult" to the Queen of Rock n Roll , leaving music fans shocked.
The statue, which was created by Atlanta sculptor Fred Ajanogha, was revealed near the singer's former stomping ground Carver High School.
Originally named Anna Mae Bullock the Icon grew up and lived in Brownsville, Tennessee.
She would go on to dominate the charts with her best-selling hits including What’s Love Got to Do with It and Private Dancer.
As a part of the annual Tina Turner Heritage Day celebrations the monument shows the re-imagined star holding a microphone complete with her signature teased hair.
