NORMAL ( 25News Now ) -Sunday was a day full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories as “Make-a-Wish” families came together in Normal to celebrate hope and community spirit.

Rader Family Farms welcomed about 250 kids for the fifth annual Make-A-Wish Kids Day.

This heartwarming event dedicated to bringing joy to children battling with critical illnesses.

The tradition began in 2020 to grant kids’ wishes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it continues on with animal friends, pumpkins, a corn maze, and more.

“They’re all fighting critical illness, and to have a day of fun and just relax and be a kid. This is one of the greatest places in the Bloomington-Normal area,” said Corey Schieler, a Make-A-Wish granter.
