A core menu consists of permanent items that customers expect to find when they visit a restaurant, in Norm’s case items such as steak and eggs.
Unlike limited-time and seasonal menus, which change constantly, core lineups usually undergo slight changes. But the Bellflower-based chain is doing it all at once on Wednesday, Oct. 1, according to David Cox, corporate executive chef.
“We are adding about 60 items. Some of them are returning favorites. Some of those are what we call new-new items. And some are things that you can order that were in our system but weren’t necessarily taking up real estate on the menu itself.”
