CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Representative Alma Adams spoke to reporters on Monday morning outside the federal courthouse in Uptown Charlotte, just before a House Judiciary Committee field hearing got underway.

Adams, who serves on the committee, delivered brief remarks on the steps of the Charles R. Jonas Federal Building, highlighting the importance of Monday's hearing and its impact on the local community.
