GEORGIA (WRBL) — Georgia's high school graduation rate is on the rise again, with the Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) reporting a 1.8% growth in the four-year graduation rate.

According to the GADOE, the 2024 graduation rate rose from 85.4% to 87.2%, an all time high since the state began using an adjusted cohort calculation method which has been required since 2011.

A total of 134 Georgia school districts reported graduation rates at or above 90%, and 60 districts recorded rates at or above 95%.
