It seems as though former Colorado star quarterback Shedeur Sanders had opportunities to be drafted before the Cleveland Browns selected him with the No. 144 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft but he turned them down.

Shedeur’s father, Deion Sanders, appeared on the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce recently and discussed what the NFL Draft was like for Shedeur Sanders.

During the interview, Deion revealed that two NFL teams reached out to Shedeur about coming in and being a backup.

“Philly called us on draft day. They didn’t mention that. I just let a cat out of the bag. Baltimore. And the Browns. They forget, I played for Baltimore, so me and [executive vice president] Ozzie [Newsome] are cool,” Deion Sanders said.
