A youth football coach in New Milford, Conn. has been arrested after he allegedly pushed a 7-year-old from the opposing team to the ground.

WFSB in Hartford reports that Daniel Fazio, an assistant coach for the New Milford Bulls youth football team, is accused of pushing a player from the Water-Oak youth football team to the ground during a game last Sunday.

Fazio is no longer a part of the Bulls coaching staff, the team has since announced.

Daniel Fazio, 38, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury to a child, according to the report.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 2, WFSB reports.
