Taking on the Medicine Hat Tigers on Saturday night, the Blades fell 4-1 to the hosts, with Rowan Calvert scoring Saskatoon’s only goal early in the second period. Article content Article content
The night before, the Blades were down 3-0 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes midway through the first period, but then went on a scoring streak with five different players finding the back of the net to lift them to a 5-3 victory.
Saskatoon will now have a short break before returning to action on Friday, Oct. 3 when they host the Red Deer Rebels at 7 p.m. at SaskTel Centre.
