Hyundai Motor India is set to launch the new-generation Venue on October 4, according to Zee Business sources. The compact SUV, which has been one of the company's strongest performers in the Indian market, will undergo a major update aimed at strengthening its position against rivals such as the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor.

Creta-inspired design changes

The upcoming Venue will borrow key design elements from Hyundai's larger SUVs, particularly the Creta. Zee Business sources report that the new model could feature a wider grille, sharper LED headlamps and redesigned bumpers. Spy shots have hinted at a split-lamp arrangement and a sleeker lighting signature across the front fascia.
