WINONA LAKE, Ind. (WNDU) - Mary Louise Miller, widow of Biomet (now Zimmer Biomet) co-founder Dr. Dane Miller and a major philanthropist in the Winona Lake and Warsaw community, has passed away.

According to our reporting partners at the Times-Union in Warsaw , Mary Louise passed away peacefully on Saturday surrounded by her family and friends. She was 78 years old.

Mary Louise and Dr. Dane were known in the Winona Lake and Warsaw community for their kindness and generosity. If you’ve ever traveled on the greenways in Winona Lake, shopped at The Village at Winona or ice skated at the Miller Sunset Pavilion, you have Dr. Dane and Mary Louise to thank.
