Could Craig Carton return to WFAN for a third stint? Boomer Esiason would welcome it.
Carton is available after his FS1 show “Breakfast Ball” was canceled over the summer.
“If they want to put him back on the radio and he wants to come back, he’s going to come back because he’s just too talented not to,” Esiason said to Barrett Media . “I wouldn’t be surprised if someday he’s back on WFAN somewhere. It has to be a place where he has to have the biggest impact. So that would be in mornings or afternoons, it’s not middays.”
Carton’s most recent run with WFAN ended in 2023 when he left the midday show he hosted with Evan Roberts. Former Giants running back Tiki Barber replaced him as Roberts’ co-host.
From 2007-2017, he was Esiason’s co-host on his morning show before he was arrested
