Syracuse, N.Y. — A man died Monday morning after his motorcycle collided with a minivan in Syracuse, according to police.

Around 7:01 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Ainsley Drive for the crash involving a motorcycle and a minivan, said Sgt. Thomas Blake, a police spokesperson.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s or 50s, was pronounced dead Upstate University Hospital, Blake said.

Both vehicles were driving east on Ainsley Drive when the motorcycle hit the left side of the minivan, Blake said. The man was ejected from the motorcycle, according to the Onondaga County 911 Center.

Police have not released the name of the man.
