TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Oro Valley Police Department confirms a bear ran into a local grocery store this morning, September 29.

The OVPD says it happened at the Fry’s at First and Oracle.

Police say the bear made a couple quick laps and then ran out.

No one was hurt.

Oro Valley police say this was not their first incident with a bear in the last week, but could not confirm if it was the same bear.

Game and Fish has been notified.

This morning’s incident comes just a few days after a bear sighting forced a shelter in place at an Oro Valley school. You can watch that story in the video player .
