Bee Network bosses have revealed 130 bus services will be impacted by industrial action this week after it was announced strike action by around 1,000 workers at Metroline Manchester will go ahead.
More than 2,000 staff at three Bee Network bus operators – First, Metroline and Stagecoach – were due to walk out from Tuesday (September 30) to Thursday (October 2).
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), which runs the Bee Network, said on Sunday that Unite the Union had suspended the strikes at First and Stagecoach while they balloted members on a new offer.
