As September comes to a close, there will be nearly 30 new laws in Florida that will go into effect in October

Following the latest legislative session, these laws go into effect on Oct. 1.

Back in July, more than 100 new laws went into effect, which covered everything from animal abuse to education, state parks to boating.

With nearly 30 new laws coming, here are 10 that you should know:

SB 150 — Abandoning restrained dogs during natural disasters
