COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two men have been arrested after allegedly attempting to scam an elderly person and assaulting a police officer, according to the Colonie Police Department. Huifeng Jin, 43, and Qinghua Wang, 34, both from Flushing, face felony charges.

At about 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Colonie police responded to Community Resource Federal Credit Union on Wade Road for a potential scam. According to a bank employee, an elderly man seemed confused as he was directed by an unknown person over the telephone to withdraw $30,000 in cash for a "construction project."
