Ne-Yo is a man of the people , but not at the expense of common courtesy and respect. The 45-year-old singer gave fans a firm warning after having to shove a man who rushed the stage during one of his recent performances.

The Las Vegas artist was in the middle of belting the bridge of his classic 2007 song “Because Of You” when a concertgoer seemingly felt the vibe so much that he needed to climb on stage, hit a two-step, and stand right next to the father of seven. Notably, he appeared more focused on drawing attention to himself as opposed to highlighting Ne-Yo.

The Grammy winner was clearly not pleased with this; he shot the fan a bewildered look, quickly grabbed him by his neck, and shoved him to the left of the stage without missing a beat in the song or his choreography. S
