(KRON) -- A Bay Area woman who launched a billboard campaign in an effort to land her "Mr. Right" has received a flood of applicants, with men from as far away as Brazil applying to become her spouse. Lisa Catalano, the local woman behind the "Marry Lisa" billboards that have popped up recently along Highway 101, spoke to KRON4 News last week.
"I just want to meet somebody," Catalano told KRON4's Michael Thomas. "And I was just not having any luck any other way."
Catalano's billboards, which are running along 101 from Santa Clara and San Francisco, has raised eyebrows, and apparently, interest. According to Catalano, she's received a huge amount of interest with suitors from across the country, and even overseas in countries like Brazil, filling out her online application for a husband.
