We are transitioning to the time of year when all of us realize it should feel like fall. The funny thing is, it won’t feel like fall at all. That’s why I think this week will start to feel pretty bizarre to Michiganders.
September is a month when we can have summery temperatures in the 80s, and it doesn’t feel too strange. But we will have afternoon temperatures in the 80s this week. This coming weekend could really feel bizarre. We should have a northeast wind Wednesday and Thursday, bringing a slight cooldown into the 70s for many. Note that temperatures in the 70s are still 10 degrees warmer than normal.
Then next weekend looks like we could flirt with or crack 80 degrees again, and possibly on both Saturday and Sunday.
