BOSIE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Twin Falls gas has only dropped a penny this week to $3.45 a gallon, according to AAA of Idaho.

The average price of gas in Idaho is $3.49, which is three cents lower than last week, a penny more than a month ago and the same price as a year ago. Coeur d’Alene holds the highest average price at $3.56 per gallon and Idaho Falls at the lowest at $3.31 per gallon.

The national average is $3.13 per gallon, which is five cents lower than a week ago.

“As the cheaper-to-produce winter-blend fuel makes its way through the supply chain, we could see additional savings. But this is also a time for refinery maintenance, and if any unusual repairs are needed, it could impact gasoline stocks in the short term,” says AAA Idaho public affairs director Matthew Conde. “Hopeful
