(WTAJ) — Drivers traveling the Pennsylvania Turnpike have a new way to get their questions answered without waiting on hold.
The Turnpike Commission has launched "Miles," an AI-powered chatbot available on its website to assist customers with common questions at any time of the day. The service is free to use and can be accessed at paturnpike.com.
According to the commission, Miles can respond to inquiries about E-ZPass, tolling, travel conditions and other customer services. The chatbot, developed in partnership with RSM and Microsoft, is designed to supplement, not replace, live agents who remain available by phone or online contact form.
