Rishab Shetty spoke in Kannada during the pre-release event of the film Kantara: Chapter 1. Starring and directed by Rishab Shetty, the film’s pre-release event attracted a controversy now. The Telugu audiences did not like Rishab speaking Kannada in Hyderabad while promoting the Telugu version. He received a lot of backlash for the same.

Today, speaking at an event, Rishab addressed this language controversy, without directly talking about yesterday’s incident.

“I think in Kannada and because of the same, I tend to speak in Kannada. But, I love to learn new languages. When I go to one place and speak, I should not disrespect the language of the land.
