SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Sioux Falls Police responded to a call on Sunday night when a man reported being followed and threatened by two other people.

The incident occurred around 9:00 pm on Sunday, September 28, near the 2600 block of East 8th Street.

The initial report stated that people were running around in the area with a machete and a pipe.

Police did not find the victim at the scene of the initial call, but found him a short distance away.

He reported that he had been walking along the 200 block of North Cleveland Avenue when a verbal exchange occurred between him, a male, and a female who were at that location.

The victim reported that he began walking away, and the male and female followed him.

The suspects had weapons and began threatening the victim.
