SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Springfield Public Schools are once again partnering with the Springfield City Library for a second year of Super Saturdays and Sundays.

The district-wide community forum series, hosted by Superintendent Dr. Sonia Dinnall, allows for an open conversation among parents, students, and educators looking to improve Springfield schools.

The forums will be held throughout the school year with the first coming up this Saturday, October 4, at 1 p.m. over at Springfield Central Library.

The first meeting’s topic is called “Early Literacy Read to Believe” with the focus changing from meeting to meeting.

Other topics being discussed this year include middle school transformation, college and career readiness, and post-secondary success.
