MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 35-year-old Mount Pleasant woman was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated after she crashed into a school bus.
It happened Monday, Sept. 29 just after 8 a.m. in the area of Stuart Road and Slater Avenue.
According to police, the driver was observed by multiple witnesses driving recklessly prior to the crash.
Officials say the woman, driving a SUV, crossed over the center line and struck the bus with 19 elementary aged children on board.
The bus driver was the only person treated for injuries.
The driver of the SUV had a 2-year-old child in the car at the time of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
