ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - A Roanoke man has been arrested for a stabbing Sunday.

35-year-old Olvin Pineda-Munoz is in custody, charged with malicious wounding. A mugshot has not been released.

Police were called Sunday, September 28, 2025, to a home in the 3400 block of Melrose Avenue NW. They found the victim with non-life-threatening stab wounds, according to police. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The police say the victim and the suspect know each other and got into an argument inside the home, resulting in the stabbing.
