Bristol Rovers stretched their unbeaten run in all competitions to eight matches and secured their fifth win of the League Two season in dramatic fashion as they got the better of Salford City at the Mem.
Goals from Ellis Harrison and Fabrizio Cavegn , as well as a stoppage-time penalty save from Luke Southwood, ensured that former Gas loanee Matt Butcher’s 16th-minute strike mattered very little as Darrell Clarke’s side ran out 2-1 winners on Saturday afternoon .
