HOUSTON — Texas continues to be a major draw for international homebuyers, according to a new report from Texas Realtors.

The 2025 Texas International Residential Transactions Report shows nearly 7,500 international buyers purchased homes in Texas between April 2024 and March 2025, a nearly 9% increase over the previous year. Those transactions topped $4.8 billion in total sales volume, up $1.3 billion from the prior reporting period.

Median price higher for international purchases

The median home price for international buyers was $420,800, a 12% increase from last year. That figure is also about $82,300 higher than the median for all Texas homes sold during the same timeframe. International buyers accounted for 2.3% of all Texas home sales, up slightly from 2.1% the year before.
