It didn’t take Josh Minott long to appreciate Joe Mazzulla’s unique spin on team-building.
Minott, who signed with the Celtics this offseason after three seasons in Minnesota, said he quickly took to Mazzulla’s leadership style.
“Man, it’s amazing,” Minott said Monday at Celtics media day. “He’s inspiring, truthfully. He’s a little bit of a weirdo. But he’s a great dude. He’s someone that inspires, like, passion. He’s definitely someone that, man, just from the month-and-a-half of knowing him, I feel like I’d run through a wall for him, truthfully. He just has that effect on people.”
